I prefer to be guided by the premise "show me the code", but you're
right, there
should be some discussion, but to make a discussion both parties must listen
and respond in prudent time. I don't want and I can't wait a week or a month
or a year to know your response, I think three days is enough time to
respond, for instance something like this:

Dear Stephane, gts code is wonderful but not perfect, I do not intend to do
something perfect, but anything that I make or anyone else makes, I prefer
to believe to be well done or at least has good intentions and deserves
consideration and it is assumed to be good while I don't find a proof to
otherwise. Is there anything of this in gts? I don't know, at least I have
not seen it in gts. What am I seen?

 * I've seen that doesn't take into account the mailing list (patches and
questions).
 * I've seen that in version 0.7.4 you switch to darcs (for version
control), was kept the written permission of the other developers?

I don't think there is any malicious intent in this, but it certainly helped
to get to this point, think for instance about how good it would have been
that Ruben did the debian packaging in the official repository of gts,
