changes in cdt.c and configure.in are neccesary to make
gts work with glib-2.4. The patch is attached.

after unpacking gts, change into gts-0.7.2
>patch -p1 < gts-0.7.2-for-glib-2.4.diff

probably you also have to to
>autoconf

At least GTS version 0.7.3 and above mention glib >= 2.4 support. Possibly this issue is resolved.
