As far as I know the applet has several bugs. This is the latest version I have on my hard disk: http://images.qballcow.nl/gtodo-applet6.png. Maybe somebody can come up with a short list of what the applet should and shouldn't do. (I know there been discussions about this before). Gtodo doesn't have a system to keep track of and messaging running gtodo's. But those 20 gtodo's should stay "in sync", because it tracks changes on the file, and in the preferences.
