Hi, The original leader on the project was a German, Jorg Schuler. Given the whois info shows .de name servers I think he is still probably the owner. I took over gtkpod for a while and updated the UI but haven't used it let alone compiled it in years. My iPod is long since dead - I've moved on. Realistically, iPods/iPhones moved on too. We spent a couple of years playing cat n mouse with Apple. In the end, they just locked out access to the iPhone/iPod db so only iPods up to the Classic (roughly) worked with libgpod and gtkpod. This hastened gtkpod's decline in interest. If you or anyonelse wishes to take over then happy to help with any transition. However, can't do much about the domain.
