It is really quite weird. Oh, ok. I didn't realise you've tried that already. The program with the above lines works for me, but I'm on Mac OS 10.5. So this might be an 32 vs 64 bit issue. Can you just run your program in gdb? If it fails with a segfault, then the stack trace ('bt') can at least show you the last things that happened in C land. Otherwise, I'm pretty much clueless, sorry. We do have a new way of handling with object destruction which might not be 64 bit safe. But it doesn't look like that's the part affected. Axel |
