Well, yes. New programs should preferably use Cairo to render stuff,  
although there will be occasions when the plain unaliased drawing is  
more adequate. Graphics Contexts are still there, but I think not  
exporting them by default is good because a lot of very general names  
are defined in module GC. You should be able to add in import  
statement for the GC module and make ThreadScope compile against older  
versions as well.

Is this acceptable?
