[Gtk-osx-users] Is Alt on Mac really Mod5?

I'm developing on a Mac book Air and discovered that specifying <Alt> in 
my $app.accel file didn't work.  Worse it failed silently.  In the end I 
needed to use <Mod5>.  I'm concerned that this is just an issue on my 
keyboard layout.  Anyone else have experience with this issue?

Now that is the last of my major blocking bugs ironed out.
