Hi JB, Thanks for the feedback. gSpiceUI is getting so big it's hard for me to thoroughly test it as well as write new code. So I would encourage you to use the SVN code if possible. A list of the problems I'm aware of is maintained in Version.hpp, it's a long list. At present I'm making some internal changes to the code structure which will make it easier to support. However the changes I'm making are more extensive than I anticipated and have temporarily broken gSpiceUI a bit. I am currently working on the problems you've reported. The latest code in the SVN should work better but it's still a bit broken. Your bug report has made me think I should have some kind of status indication on the web site for the state of the code in the SVN (ie. is it usable or broken) for brave souls such as yourself. I'll put something on my todo list re creating a status section on the web page. Regards Mike W. Hello, I am using GSpiceUI for my hobby project, and I have run into these two issues: 1. GSpiceUI tries to execute gaw as a waveform viewer even when I have gWave selected. I believe this is due to fact that in Preferences dialog gWave is set to 'gWave' at DlgPrefs.cpp:90 and later saved to gspiceui.conf, but the value from conf file is tested against 'GWAVE' string at FrmMain.cpp:1179, doesn't match and thus GSpiceUI tries to execute gaw. 2. I use Czech locale, which uses comma, instead of point to separate decimals and GSpiceUI then outputs decimal commas to simulation commands which then obviously do not work. This patch (http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=1576729&group_id=145635&atid=762570) seems to fix this issue for me, would you please consider committing it? Regards Viktor Novotný |
