Dear Users and Developers, It is our pleasure to announce that we have completed the migration of GSN from SourceForge to Github. The new repository is now accessible here: https://github.com/LSIR/gsn We have correctly associated the user IDs for the users who claimed their commits. The documentation has been migrated to the new wiki: https://github.com/LSIR/gsn/wiki (a few pages are still to be added) The issues are accessible here: https://github.com/LSIR/gsn/issues?state=open We have migrated the issues that are still relevant. If you have any issues (bugs, features, questions) you want to complement, please add them there as the previous one on SourceForge will be closed. Regarding the mailing list, we are still using the one in SourceForge but a new one will be announced shortly. We wanted to keep the same one for the time of transition. >From today, only the GitHub repository will be updated. The previous repository will be frozen and kept as a reference. I also take the opportunity to announce that GSN will have a new manager: M. Julien Eberle. >From now on, he will take the lead for the project. I wish him good luck and a lot of success and to all of you. If you have any questions, they are welcome. Sofiane Sarni p.p. Management of GSN From: Sarni Sofiane [mailto:sof...@ep...] Sent: mardi 4 février 2014 09:43 To: gsn...@li...; gsn...@li...; gsn...@li...; gsn...@li... Subject: [Gsn-devel] Migration of GSN repository from SourceForge to GitHub Dear Users and Developers, We would like to announce that GSN will migrate from SourceForge to GitHub. The new repository will be located at: https://github.com/LSIR/gsn The migration will be effective on February 28th, 2014. We will first migrate the source code repository, then the wiki, issue tracker and mailing lists. All previous commits and branches available on SourceForge up to February 14th will be migrated. As commits in Git are associated with e-mails, we need to create a mapping between Subversion commits and corresponding authors' emails. If you want to claim your previous commits, you have to provide us with your e-mail and user ID on GitHub (you can create it if you don't already have one). Please do that before February 14th, 2014. Once the migration is performed, you won't be able to claim your commits anymore. *Important Dates* Feb, 14th: - last commits to SourceForge - deadline for claiming commits Feb, 28th: - migration of wiki, issue tracker and mailing list If you have questions or any issues, please let us know. Best regards, Sofiane Sarni GSN project manager and lead developer |
