When I open gSky, and select one of the "subsets" e.g. "Planets" the gSky window disappears off screen. I see the taskbar icon and a program "button" in the task bar.
If I right click the program "button" in the task bar I can select "Maximize" which works correctly, yielding a full screen of gSky. If I click the "restore Down" button I see gSky "slide" off the screen to the right.
WinXP SP2 with 2 monitors.
