[gscan2pdf-help] Epson V600 not detecting

Hello Jeffrey and everyone else -

I could really use your help in using gscan2pdf with my Epson V600 again.

I have used the gscan2pdf as of a year ago, with Ubuntu 16.04 last.

I clean upgraded to Ubuntu 17.10 and installed gscan2pdf 2.1.0 along with
the drivers from Epson in file: iscan-gt-x820-bundle-1.0.1.x64.deb:

I have both epson and epson2 uncommented in: /etc/sane.d/dll.conf

I restart laptop, start gscan2pdf scan for devices, but cannot find the
Epson V600.

scanimage -L returns:
No scanners were identified. If you were expecting something different,
check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the
sane-find-scanner tool (if appropriate). Please read the documentation
which came with this software (README, FAQ, manpages).

Look forward to your suggestions in getting the scanning with the V600
working again.
