I assume the proper solution would me to add a drop-down in the clean-up
dialogue box "Writing system = Left-to-right/Right-to-left", which would
then affect the order in which the pages were imported after being split.

Until I have implemented this, a (very horrible) workaround would be to
reverse the order of the pages with the renumber tool (or scan them in
backwords), before splitting them with unpaper, and then reversing them
again.
