I might look further into that, but I think I'm looking for some more basic "hacker" type tools first. Something like grep but it doesn't have to be grep -- I'm just trying to illustrate that something at the CLI would be nice to start. GUI tools are nice but when they don't work, they become more of a hindrance than a help and being able to fall back to more basic tools is useful. Thanks for the input, much appreciated! Cheers, b. |
