[gscan2pdf-help] Scan Document Window not fully painted

Hello. I'm running 1.1.3 on a System76 laptop using Ubuntu 12.04. I 
recently installed Bodhi Linux (v. 2) on my desktop, which is old and 
slow and has a better time running Enlightenment than any variant of 
Gnome or KDE.

In any event, gscan2pdf works like a charm on the laptop. And, it 
starts/loads fine on the desktop. However, when I press the "scan" icon, 
the Scan Document window only paints the top bar (containing the 
gscan2pdf icon and the text "Scan Document" and the bottom bar. The rest 
of the dialog appears to be transparent to the gray background.

Any ideas?
