I was attempting to connect to (one) client (I am a small entity IP
attorney,
possibly the only one in the US, and since small entities seldom have any
money, I cut corners where I can).

Somehow (probably my fault) LinkedIn sent invites to <everyone> (well,
still waiting for notification of a connection to the major world leaders,
but ...).

Anyway, sorry about that ;>().
