#141 Prevent GIMP from closing everytime when you open multiple images

Hi there,
Thank you for the amazing tool! I use it a lot.

I noticed that when I select multiple images and open them with a user-defined tool like GIMP, gscan2pdf waits for me to close GIMP before it opens the next image. For example, if I select 5 images, I have to open and close GIMP 5 times.
Would it be possible to add a way (maybe a checkbox or an option) to let them all open at the same time? It would save a lot of clicks!

I've stopped maintaining gscan2pdf as I have released its successor, scantpaper: https://github.com/carygravel/scantpaper

I've noted your suggestion for scantpaper and will implement it as soon as I have time.
