Multipage scanning default selection

Ubuntu 24.04.3
Scanner Brother MFC-J6920DW
scantpaper 3.0.20
Behavior different from preferred gscan2pdf:
After scanning a multipage document, only the last page is selected.
The default should be the entire document, as it is in gscan2pdf.
That way when saving immediately after scanning, the entire document will be saved by default, not just the last page. Rarely, when saving a multipage document that was just scanned will you want to save only the last page.
This should be a very simple fix.

The print icon does print the entire document, not just the selected pages. (unless selected otherwise in the Gnome3 dialog)
I think that most users when choosing pages to print or save would like to select the pages to be printed in the Scantpaper program than in the more cumbersome Gnome3 dialog. This is. of course, provided the default selection after scanning was "all pages."
It seems that a consistent UI would be preferred between save and print, than different.
Changing the print functionality to "Print Selected" is probably more complicated than just changing the default selection.
BTW Scantpaper will be a nice upgrade from gscan2pdf.
The fix is simple - when saving, in the save dialogue, you select pages=all, rather than pages=selected. The behaviour is identical to gscan2pdf.
got it. I think that I was looking at a case where the dialog was sticky, instead of default to all pages.
This is an OK mode, once you realize that you need to read the dialog.
My preference would be that the selector would default to all pages instead of sticky.
