No feedback on rotating

I am scanning big photos of a size of 12mb as png and the rotating usually doesn't work at UI level.
I mean I rotate a photo, but I don't know if it is doing it. I have to do wait few seconds, switch to another photo in the UI and maybe gscan2pdf got updated as UI to let me know that is done.
It is possible to get some feedback or progress? Right now I am using another program for that.
Do you mean progress during rotating one page?
If you highlight three pages, and rotate, then you should get a progess bar showing how many of the three pages have been completed.
The problem I saw that I rotate single pages but I can still move the cursor and change the focus, so the page that is rotated maybe is not the one I was viewing.
Any operation (e.g. rotation, OCR, unpaper) should remember which page it was applied to. The focus should be irrelevant, and the correct page (including the thumbnail) should be updated when the operation has finished.
What sort of feedback or progress would you like to see?
somewhere a progress bar can be an idea. RIght now if I scan a single page, press the button for rotating here is no feedback, few seconds after magically the image is rotated.
For me, rotating single pages, the progress bar appears below the image at 50% progress, the image is rotated, and the progress bar disappears.
Do you never see a progress bar?
I have to check again but as I can remember I have no idea where it is the progress bar in gscan2pdf, so I think that I never saw it.
