#345 gscan2pdf prints blank pages
Just switched to Debian 10. Installed gscan2pdf v2.3.0 from Debian repo, using apt. Scanning seems to work just fine, as expected, but printing scanned document just prints blank pages. I've tried different printers, but same result. I've tried to print to PDF, but same result....blank pages. I can print from other applications to printers and to PDF printer without issue. Printing issue seems to be limited to gscan2pdf.
Perhaps a notable distinction with troubleshooting, I am currently "saving as" a PDF and then printing PDF to printer. A PITA workaround, but still a workaround. Would be nice to print directly to printer.
Any thoughts to resolve this issue?

I've just tested this and it works for me.
Does print preview work?
Please start gscan2pdf from the command line with
reproduce the problem, quit, and post the compressed log file (log.xz).
Print Preview does nothing. Printing to PDF (cups-pdf) prints blank page. I've attached requested log file, and PDF of scanned page printed to "PDF Printer". Choosing "save as" from gscan menu and saving as PDF works fine. I would assume this points to cups-pdf-printer as the issue; except I can print to PDF with every application except gscan2pdf. It seems gscan interacts/reacts differently with cups-pdf-printer. But you're the expert here, not me, FWIW.
and pdf of scanned page. As a matter of thoroughness, printing to regular printer also prints blank page, not scanned image. FWIW.

Ah. Thanks for the log file. This is certainly this bug:

which I fixed six months ago. Please upgrade to the latest version (i.e from Bullseye or the .deb in the downloads section here)
I did see that bug, but noted it was an older version than mine and he referenced a specific error that I couldn't "connect the dots" as being related to my error. I'll download the Bullseye deb and see if that doesn't resolve the issue. THANK YOU for your support!
