Toolbar icons are HUGE in the GTK-3 versions and cannot be corrected by the GTK settings (all icon size settings were deprecated since GTK-3.10).

    Thanks for the report. Compared to the text size, the icon size does seem large. However, gscan2pdf doesn't specify the size. I could do it:

    https://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/stable/GtkToolbar.html

    But the fact that I don't suggests that it might be a theme issue in your settings.

    Can you give me an example from another GTK application with a toolbar, e.g. GnuCash?
