This crops up every few months.
Since Grub2Win makes low level system calls, it is sometimes flagged as a virus.
Particularly by Microsoft, not so much by the other antivirus vendors.
You can examine the source code to assure yourself that there is no virus, and even compile the .exe yourself.
I SSL sign the executables before uploading them to SourceForge, so they cannot be altered.
You can check the SSL signatures.
Meanwhile, I will once again submit the code sample to Microsoft so their scans will not flag it for a few months.

I have just updated to the latest release, it installed fine but then when setup was clearing up, i got alerted by windows that its infected.

Obviously i've let windows stop it from loading for now.

lol yeah i thought it would be something wrong with them somewhere. Can always rely on giants cocking up somewhere :-)
