grub2win only starts windows, Mint-start produces error "bootinitrd.img not found". I suspect faulty kernel after last update. How do I boot with older kernel? Boot-Parms for grub2win?

Problem solved: with shift-key Mint booted and selected different kernel.

    Hi Helmut,

Thanks for the info. I'm glad you were able to work around the problem.

I would like to better understand what caused this issue.
Would you mind sending me your Grub2Win diagnostics file?

The diagnostics file contains information about your hardware, BCD, EFI files and Grub2Win configuration.

To get the diagnostics file, run Grub2Win and click the blue "Diagnostics" button.

Fill in the required information and click "OK" to run the diagnostics.
The diagnostics run usually takes 1 - 2 minutes.

Then you will be given the option to either upload or email the compressed diagnostics file to me.

    Thanks,

    Dave
