I run a Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit Greek language laptop with BIOS mode and after I installed grub2win and added an Android x86 menuentry successfully, I am not able to run grub2win anymore because every time I double click the desktop shortcut or click the c:\grub2\grub2win.exe executable file it shows an AutoIt error window which says: Line 18725 (File "C:\grub2\grub2win.exe"): Error: Variable used without being declared.
I have tried to uninstall manually (deleted the BCD entry with easyBCD or Bootice and the grub2 folder C:\grub2) and reinstalled grub2win successfully but nothing changes.
Please help me solve this problem and run this very useful app.
Thank you.

At this point Grub2Win does not support the Greek language. The reason is that the GNU organization, which creates the Grub code, does not supply translation modules for Greek. GNU does supply modules for a number of other languages.
You may want to install English to your machine as a workaround. You could then switch to English, run Grub2Win, and then switch back to Greek.
Hope this helps,
Dave

Thank you very much for your support. I' ll try to change my OS language but unfortunately I think that it is not possible fot a Windows Vista machine.

Eventually I was able to change my system language into English with Vistalizator and now grub2win runs smoothly.
I would also like to ask you if it is possible to go immediately from BCD menu to GRUB2 menu without pass through the 4-5 seconds countdown message "This machine is running in BIOS mode 4...3...2...1...0" after which appears the GRUB2 menu.
Thank you very much.

I just downloaded and installed version 7.3.1 of Grub2Win. I run new Grub2Win and successfully added the very useful bootinfo entry but the BIOS countdown message remains.
Thanks for your support,

Hi Zafeiris,
I just uploaded version 7.3.1 of Grub2Win. The BIOS countdown message has been removed in the new version.
You will need to run Grub2Win again to update the configuration file.
Please let me know if this works for you.
Thanks,
Dave
