When I open my notepad after lunch after it's been hibernating I get the grub2win boot screen. If I choose Windows it boots to Windows and Windows comes out of hibernation. Anyway to have Windows come out of hibernation directly without the grub2win menu?
I don't have this problem with linux systems.

I have not been able to recreate this behavior on any of my systems.
It is possible that there is an unusual entry in your Windows BCD.
Please send me your Grub2Win diagnostics.
The diagnostics include information about your hardware and BCD configuration.
Once I have your diagnostics, I can look into this.
Thanks,
Dave

Be sure your notebook is plugged in before going to lunch. If the battery gets low Windows shutsdown the system which requires requires the rebooting after lunch.
