Grub2Win 1.0.5.0 Multiboot Win10Pro_1803 Debian OpenSuse Kubuntu PCLinuxOS

Hallo,

bisher habe ich meine Multiboot Installtionen mit GRUB 2.02 genutzt, also zuerst 1 GB frei/1GB für WinMBR/200GB_NTFS Windows10/extended_erweitert/1GB Boot Linux/usw.. Den mbr habe ich dann immer ganz vorne auf sda0 installiert, also in den freien Bereich. Bei der Nutzung von Grub2win müßte ich den Bootloader dann jeweils in die eigenen root Partitionen der Linux Distros installieren, richtig so ?

Gibt es hierzu eine deutsche Schritt für Schritt Anleitung ?

Wie gehe ich sinnvoll vor, wenn ich bereits mehrere Festplatten mit Windows und Linux als Multiboot
Installationen ( BIOS MBR ) unter Nutzung von GRUB 2.02 installiert habe ?

Mein Problem bisher war, dass Windows10 mindestens 1 bis 2x pro Jahr den GRUB von Linux überschrieben hat, dass Problem wollte ich jetzt sinnvoll mit Grub2win lösen.

Kann ich im Nachhinein auch bei bestehenden Multiboot Installation mit Grub 2.02 durch die Installation
von Grub2Win das Ganze sinnvoll ändern ?

Ich möchte schon, dass ich nur ein Bootmenü habe und nicht 2 wie es derzeit der Fall ist.

Ich habe Ihre Diagnosedateien erhalten, und ich habe sie durchgesehen.

Sie werden Schwierigkeiten haben, Grub2Win mit Ihrer aktuellen Festplattenkonfiguration zu verwenden.

Das Problem ist, dass Sie viele logische Partitionen für Ihre Linux-Systeme anstelle von primären Partitionen verwenden.
Logische Linux-Partitionen sind in einer Windows-Umgebung sehr schwer zu handhaben.

Ihre Maschine ist auch sehr alt. Es verwendet BIOS anstelle von EFI-Firmware.

You will have difficulty using Grub2Win with your current disk configuration.

The problem is that you are using many logical partitions for your Linux systems instead of primary partitions.
Logical Linux partitions are very difficult to work with in a Windows environment.

Your machine is also very old. It uses BIOS instead of EFI firmware.
This is the reason for the 2 menus. EFI generally works easier.

You may want to consider changing your Linux disk from MBR to GPT partition type.
This allows up to 128 primary partitions for your Linux systems. You will not need logical partitions.

So with Grub2win, can I only manage primary partitions and not logical ones? Since my Asrock Mainbords A770DE + are all from 2009/2010 and support BIOS and MBR, I can only create logical drives from the 3 primary partition. Then I stay with the known GRUB2.02 solution from Linux or better? What about EasyBCD, that same problem as with Grub2win or?

It is possible to use Grub2Win in a BIOS environment with MBR disks and logical partitions.

You must do two things in this environment. A bit of work.
