I agree that it's OK in the way how it works now, and this new functionality could be only a compliment.=20 Maybe later I will start a new thread on the dev list. Subject: RE: [Grinder-use] stopping workers gracefully Hi Karol, well if you used grinder.runs you would have to change your methodology :-) <chuckle>. I think the way that the processes terminate currently is as expected from the current code, and is the behaviour that should be expected if you are using a timed run methodology for your testing. Though obviously that is just my personal opinion and its open to discussion. I see no reason, if you develop a working patch to provide the functionality that you want in the tool, that you shouldn't submit such a patch for inclusion. In fact I would encourage it so that the wider grinder community could benefit from it. I would set it up as a complement to the current behaviour rather than as a replacement of the current behaviour though. Send a mail to gri...@li... and see what the developers think. Subject: Re: [Grinder-use] stopping workers gracefully Thanks for reply Calum. I think telling your customer to change his methodology is not the best idea ;) I know "grinder.runs". Like you said, it can be used in some way for this. I developed solution which stops processes working in the way I need. Now it only works on local machine. I need to propagate information to remote agents, and this is the harder thing to do. I just wanted to see if there is any interest in such functionality to add to Grinder. If not, forget about it.
