I am doing a gridlabd simulation for a location in Sydney Australia and cant seem to find any tmy2 files. There are EPW (Energy Plus software) files avialable but i am not sure if they are compatible or convertible.
Is there a way to use EPW files?
Can I convert EPW files to TMY2?
Can I synthesize a location specfic TMY2 file from any source like NASA etc?

You are able to push any data you want through the climate module, using CSV files rather than TMY2. They have a specific format, so you'll need to convert the data to that format. See the csv_reader documentation site:
