What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. In Windows Explorer, mark 3 folders (say 3 folders in the C:\root), then rightclick, and start a search with "grepWin..."
2. The grepWin window opens ok, and the field "Search in" correctly displays "Folder_1; Folder_2; Folder_3"
3. Now leave this grepwin window open, go back to Windoiws Explorer, again chose 3 (can be different) folders, rightlick, select "GrepWin..."
4. Now the (second) instance of grepWin opens, but this time (reproducably) grepWin opesn 3 Windows, one each for just searching Folder_1, Folder_2, or Folder_3.
Only closing ALL open windows / instances of grepWin before starting new search returns to the "normal" bahavior.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
-The second instance of grepWin should also just open 1 Window searchng all 3 selcted folders, i.e. should behave like the first instance.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
grepWin 1.6.0.466, on Windows 7 64bit.

Weird. I am now on 1.6.1.519. Still the same issue, completely reproducably: I mark (in Windows Explorer) 5 folders (they contain source code I have to search for certain strings), right-click, select grepWin: grepWin performs as expected, i.e. opens one Window displaying the search results of all 5 folders.
Then I leave that grepWin window open, go back to Windows Explorer, again mark the (uually same) 5 folders and right-click: grepWin opens 5(!) new (additional) windows, each displaying the result for one folder only (as visible in the "Search in" field). Completely reproducable.
Only closing ALL grepWin Windows before starting a new grepwin search resolves the situation, and the next grepWin call would open in one consolidated window again.
Hope I made it clear. Please let me know if I can give you more detail to help debug.

you have to check the option "only one instance".
If you don't, then multiple paths are only done in one window if no other window is shown on startup.
