Hi there, I'm trying to use grdc 0.6.0 in Ubuntu 9.04 to connect a VNC server running RealVNC on a Windows XP machine. However, I cannot connect, and grdc throws the following error:

"Unknown authentication scheme from VNC server: 50660866"

RealVNC is simply using password authentication without any encryption or anything. I can connect perfectly fine from vinagre. Can anyone tell me what might be the problem?

Hi, do you still have this problem? I tested with the latest RealVNC server 4.1.3 as of today without any problem. Please let me know you libvncclient version and you realvnc version.
