Hi,
I'm a rank newbie. That notwithstanding:
I tried using graphite on Python 1.5.2 within IDLE. I
loaded testa.py into an IDLE window and clicked:
Run/Run Program
An output window opened which gave me:
Traceback (innermost last)
File "c:\tools\graphite\tests\testa.py", line 1, in ?
from graphite import *
TypeError: piddle.Font has read-only attributes
Program disconnected.
I've earlier run piddletest fairly successfully: the
TK, PIL, PS, and PDF options worked.
I'm sure I'm doing something absolutely stupid. Can
you suggest what that might be?
Thanks
Brian

We don't support python 1.5.2 any more.
