When I wanted to compile the PNG-example program, finally the compiler stopped, because there was no definition of TCustonBitmap32 used to read PNG-images.

    Please specify what PNG-example program you have in mind. As far as I know, none of the examples use png files (especially since the 'media' directory under examples does not contain a single png file).

    If you want to use PNG files, please either use a newer Delphi version (which typically supports PNG files) or use a particular library to read PNG files. For this purpose another open source project should fill the gap (see https://sourceforge.net/projects/gr32pnglibrary\).
