I remember using the GQ in the past, and it was a great LDAP client.
Now I would like to use it again, but it has some requirements that I think should be optional.
In order to install GQ I would have to install: gnome-keyring, gnome-doc-utils, gconf, orbit2, scrollkeeper, and who know what else, because I just gave up.

I think all these should be optional, the only real requirement should be openldap and gtk libraries, the rest should just give extra functionality.

At some point I will try and make the gnome stuff optional if it makes sense. Haven't looked into the code under this perspective yet.
