(I don't know what tools ARE available, but I know how painful it will be to use GPSBabel for this.) In the unlikely case that you have polygon data for every city/village of interest and need help constructing the batch file/script files to let GPSBabel iterate over them and return a non-zero number of points when the correct one is selected, let us know. Not to be snobbish, but if that paragraph made your head hurt, GPSBabel is the wrong tool for this problem. It's not like we have built in political boundary tables for the planet. RJL |
