Hi I would just like to share a tip that I found somewhere online regarding working out the time difference between the GPS and camera clocks; When you get to a location and have your GPS up and running, take a photo of the GPS unit with the clock showing, then it is an easy matter to use the timestamp the camera added to that photo and the time shown on the GPS in the photo to work out any offsets required. Subject: Re: [Gpsbabel-misc] Wiki (was: How do you sync GPS-data with photos?) <snip> First you have to decide how you can calculate the time-difference between camera and gps-tracker later. Sometimes the difference will be important, sometimes not, but it is hard to say in advance, when it is. </snip> |
