That's good news. I will try it to install gpsbabel from cvs and inform you if 
I could get it work. When do you think 1.3.4 will be released? Weeks, months?

FYI: I use at the moment this version:
apt-cache policy gpsbabel
gpsbabel:
  Installiert: 1.3.1-12
  Kandidat: 1.3.1-12
  Versionstabelle:
 *** 1.3.1-12 0

Will a Repository for OpenSuse 10.2 and 1.3.4  exist? I use smart as packet 
manager.
