The distance and calories are 0 because that is currently not read from the device. 1.3.4 also do not read other "fitness" structures like laps and run info. I have done a patch for that (and some other stuff, it is in the patches section) but it got too intrusive for other users. Robert do not like maintaining and documenting options and was hesitant to add options to "garmin" that enabled special run/course mode etc. That left me with letting the GTC format handling the raw data from Garmin and I got stuck on doing that.
