I've been doing quite a bit of searching for standalone software that will take plain waypoints and make a simulated track or route out of them. No luck. The software would have to put in suitable time stamps for the waypoints. Also the routes it made would be connect the dot style and would quite often cut the corners or go off road. And the waypoints might not be in any ideal order such that a completely chaotic route is made. That might mean an optional sorting or nearest neighbor algorithm. I've found a few sites that will let me upload a GPX file, but it ends up just plotting the waypoints which I could do anyway. I think I've found an honest to goodness new application. How useful, that is questionable, but this is just for geeking around which makes it fun. Roger -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
