It looks like the AN1 writer supports the 130+ symbols provided by the stock Delorme 'dim' file. There is not, of course, a 1:1 mapping between Mapsource and Delorme here becuase the programs don't support the same icons. For example, Mapsource has "Golf Course" while Delorme has "Golf Municipal", "Golf Private", "Golf Public", and so on. While a human might be able to decide which of those is best, the string comparisons don't take a direct match so you get the default icon - a red flag.
