While I was testing the specific command-line help stuff, I noticed that there are a number of formats and filters that have too-long descriptions for their options. The result is help that wraps and/or gets truncated: [ron@mail gpsbabel]$ gpsbabel -h compegps compegps CompeGPS data files (.wpt/.trk/.rte) deficon Default icon name index Index of route/track to write (if more the one in radius Give points (waypoints/route points) a default r ad snlen Length of generated shortnames (default 16) I have fixed the issues in gpx, palmdoc, and the track filter. At least, I think I have; I'm not married to my edits. I could try to edit the rest of them, but I think that the module owners, where applicable, could probably do a better job. In some of these cases, it might be sufficient to change the format string in the help output to not indent the description of options by two spaces. I have not investigated that. Formats with issues: igc gdb mapsource pcx gpx ignrando kml lowranceusr magellan bcr nmn4 nmea palmdoc stmwpp yahoo Filters with issues: track |
