I just committed a patch from Alex that adds the URL parsing to GPX. More interestingly, it adds parsing of the groundspeak:log_wpt tag. When gpx is invoked with the new "logpoint" option it'll recognize user-entered coords and generate a new waypoint for the target format with a generated name for you. This should be handy for new caches that get put out where the placer mistypes the coords on the page (it happens!) and someone has posted a "your coords are 517 feet off; try these" log. Very clever. Thanx, Alex! RJL P.S. I'm still being kind of conservative with what I'm checking in right now. Hopefully after my Christmas travels I'll have time to spin a quick bug-fix release for the minor things we've found in 1.1.0 and then I can turn to the new CSV parser and add the S&T stuff that was requested. |
