Our KML <description> data contain HTML tags enclosed in CDATA markers as suggested here: https://developers.google.com/kml/documentation/kml_tut Now, the difficulty is that GPX does not understand HTML of course, and GPSBabel is not able to convert these tags. What would you pleaswe suggest: * Change our KML data by not generating HTML tags ? * Or fix GPSBabel to convert these HTML tags to plain text ? Last question please: Apparently, GPX does not give any information about how CMT and DESC tags can be formatted : http://www.topografix.com/gpx_manual.asp#desc . If we wish to convert, for example, HTML tables to plain text, would it be possible to tabs, newlines etc... ? Thanks |
