Just to say thanks for providing this project which we have now used to provide a quick way to geolocate photos submitted to our cycling photomap and journey planner. How it is used is explained at
http://www.cyclestreets.net/photomap/help/synchronization/
We use it in dry-run mode to find the location of each submitted photo, and read the lat/long from the generated output.
If I were to request a feature it would be that the output from the dry-run mode could include the start and end times of the track.
cheers
Simon

Good idea. I may add such a feature (and not only for dry run). I think I need a general output verbosity level for this and will output these data only in a high enough level.
Cyclestreets is a nice usage of this little tool. Please vote up this project at SourceForge as someone (anonymous) voted gpsPhoto.pl down.

Almost three years on we are still making good use of this project in CycleStreets.

I've just had a look to see if it can also extract the bearing from the gpx and I found that it does produced a hardwired result of "Bearing: 0" in the output. Any chance of supporting that value properly?
