NOAA-15 APT transponder frequency incorrect
Real time satellite tracking and orbit prediction

The current APT transponder frequency for NOAA-15 is 137.620 MHz. I tried changing this value in /usr/share/gpredict/data/trsp/25338.trsp but it did not seem to change within gpredict no matter what I tried (closing & restarting; remove & re-adding sat to module, etc).
Version 1.3 on Linux.
ETA: gpredict currently has the frequency listed as 137.500; correct frequency is 137.620
There may also be a transponder file in your .config/Gpredict directory.
I will check the master database when I have real connectivity. also if you can provide a reference it would be appreciated.
That was it -- once I edited .config/Gpredict/trsp/25338.trsp to set the correct frequency the application immediately picked up upon the change.
Here is a reference (the change was effective October 2010):

Not sure if I should open a separate bug for this, but NOAA 17 is incorrect as well (currently 137.620; should be 137.500).

I saw that noaa 16 has a bad hrpt frequency as well. I have fixes on my local copy. I will check in within a day.
Thanks for the information source and it is a bug.
Well, if we call it a bug we will have to leave it open forever and check for each release because what is happening is that NOAA changes the frequencies every now and then.
Here is a recording from July last year, NOAA-15 on 137.5 MHz:

Corrections for NOAA-15 -16 and -17 have all been checked in as SVN 819.
As of version 1.9 transponder data are fetched from https://db.satnogs.org/
