We are in the process of polishing the latest bits of the new release 0.5.4 which should be completely released later today.
Note however that this release got a new sound API to ensure the hardware independance/portability of the library itself which broke previous code. That's why we are researching a skilled Linux programmer that can update (with our help) the standalone player and the plugin source code. If you feel you are able to do this, please contact me (abalabanb).
