#28 gpixpod allocates to much memory when selecting photos

I installed gpixpod from SVN tree (Version 79).
Everything works fine if I select only a few photos
for adding them to an album.
Selecting more than 6 or 8 photos (each has about 3 -
4 MByte size!) results in a very high usage of
memory. I saw 70 or 80% for python on my 512 MB RAM
system before pressing the store button.
I also can reproduce gpixpod using all memory and
theredore slowing down the whole system until gpixpod
gets killed. dmesg says:

Out of Memory: Kill process 3328 (bash) score 166659
and children.
Out of memory: Killed process 27855 (python).
