Hi, I am using gphoto2 to read shutter counts on Canon EOS camera
I have installed :OSX Mavericks, homebrew , xcode 5.1.1 en gphoto 2.5.4
Each time after running gphoto2 --list-config I get the same error:
dyld: Library not loaded: @@HOMEBREW_PREFIX@@/opt/readline/lib/libreadline.6.2.dylib
Referenced from: /usr/local/bin/gphoto2
Reason: image not found
Trace/BPT trap: 5
Reinstalling , home-brew doctor etc. does not bring me any further
What's the reason please for this error?
Any help very much appreciated..
best,
Ruud
Trace/BPT trap: 5
@@HOMEBREW_PREFIX@@ seems homebrew specific and was apparently not replaced somewhere.
as I dont use macos, i cannot really help.
I have heard that there is also libgphoto2/gphoto2 in MacPorts somewhere.
hi Marcus, thanks for the effort and the support
I will check out MacPorts
best,
Ruud

#114Just for the record, I tried gphoto2 on MacOSX using MacPorts and it was working.
not a libgphoto2 error, more a homebrew build error
