#467 Support for the Canon 80D

Will there be support for the Canon 80D any time soon?

I shoot tethered to my laptop but cannot connect the 80D. My older Canon 20D and 5D MK1 connect fine.

Currently using Linux Mint 18 (Sarah) and DarkTable 2.0.5. DarkTable is 80D compatible now.
Libgphoto version 2.5.9-3

Update. Using Mint 18.1 now. Darktable 2.2.1
And thanks to Gonzalos majic installer for Libgphoto updates, I now have Darktable working in Mint and it recognizes my Canon 80d, It does get contakerous at times and only wants to load the first shoot, then freeze up. I have to reboot everything when this happens.
