Using cvs from 24112004.

I attached my sisters Nikon Coolpix 4200 to the
USB-Port.

/proc/bus/usb/devices:

T: Bus=02 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=00 Cnt=01 Dev#= 17
Spd=12 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 1.10 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS=64
#Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=04b0 ProdID=0203 Rev= 1.00
S: Manufacturer=NIKON
S: Product=NIKON DSC E4200
S: SerialNumber=4541448
C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=c0 MxPwr= 2mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=08(stor.) Sub=06 Prot=50
Driver=usb-storage
E: Ad=01(O) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl=0ms
E: Ad=82(I) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl=0ms

I wanted to get all pictures from the camera with:
#gphoto2 --camera "Nikon Coolpix 4200 (PTP mode)" -P
--debug
But this fails (Look at the attached file for further
information).

BTW: Thanks for the Canon IXUS 500 driver. It works
like a charm.

    As you show us, the Nikon is configured to be in Mass
    Storage mode. You can mount it.
    You need to switch it to PTP or PictBridge (depends of the
    naming) to have it works with gphoto.
