Guys, I think maybe you have noticed that, a new FRS (File Release System, I guess, i.e. Release Files for Download, see http://p.sf.net/sourceforge/FRS for more details) was launched by sourceforge last week. Here I'd like to share some of my experiences if you have not tried it. I think the new one is better than before, since now it's possible we can release files by sftp files to some directories, and we can, e.g. use "mv" command from lftp to move files, or use "rm" command to remove files, which were not possible before. However, there are still some problems... e.g. I can not edit the release notes, changelogs... Although I followed the hints "Right click on a file or a directory to see a list of available actions (e.g. Cut, Paste etc). Click a file to edit properties (e.g. Name, Label etc).", it does not work. Another related problem is, there is not URL we can specify to users, e.g. we used to be able to use "http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=115843&package_id=271779" to specify the "GParted live testing" for users, now there is no such link, so people will be redirected to a whole list of files available, which is quite confusing actually. Those problems were filed in the trac system on sourceforge. Hope they can be fixed very soon.
