I have been thinking carefully about what should I do with Goona Browser. I paused development for it since I started to use Ubuntu Linux as my main OS, something I'm very comfortable with.
This has been almost an year ago, and I still haven't restarted Goona development.

Some time ago I looked at the code for the software and noticed how dirty and buggy it is. My coding experience has improved since I started using Goona Browser, and as it is so buggy and the code is so unstable I think it would be better to start fresh.... read more

Hi, all Goona Browser users, possible future users, and people that arrived here accidentally...

At this moment, I know that the latest version of Goona Browser has more than 150 downloads. Or at least, download requests, because users may have cancelled the download.

I know that currently, Goona Browser has more than 1500 downloads worldwide. Now, tell me: how is it possible that of those 1500 downloads, no user returned feedback to me? Or, only a few users (nearly 10 as a maximum) gave feedback? Does that mean Goona Browser is so bad quality that it isn't worth commenting? If yes, tell me, that means I really need to start from scratch, or do something radical with the code. If no, tell me why Goona Browser gets so low downloads, and almost no one gives feedback? Of those 1500 downloads, I don't know how many users managed to pass through the First Run Wizard, I have no idea!... read more

After some months, the semi-stable version 0.6.0.1 is released! Innovations include a shiny Windows Aero user interface, a better history thumbnails system that takes less RAM, a new First Run Wizard to accommodate new users in a more sweet way... furthermore, the "View All Tabs" function has ended its BETA stage, this piece of Goona Browser is now considerated as stable. First of all, let me explain why the word 'users' on the title of the topic is between quotes: currently there are now users of Goona Browser, what I have is a lot of people trying to use Goona Browser, althrough they can't use Goona Browser since it is full of bugs starting from the First Run Wizard (FRW). These bugs on FWR are putting a stop that doesn't allow users to use Goona Browser.... read more

A new version of Goona Browser is now officially released! This version, 0.5.2.1, includes:
Some bug fixes - the most important is the correction of the error after First Run Wizard phase that didn't allow to use Goona Browser for those users without VisualBasic.PowerPacks installed on their computer. Now this namespace isn't needed.
Some new functions: multiple homepage support, open tabs at shutdown saving, list of the open tabs, and twitter dashboard were the main additions. Internal homepage is also improved, now it shows the thumbnails of the last six visited pages and allows you to navigate to them with a simple click.... read more

New version (0.4.7.3) of Goona Browser reached more than 150 downloads on 2010-01-18 (YYYY-MM-DD)! This is a record when compared to other versions of Goona Browser.

Only 56 downloads of the 176 downloads were from the SourceForge project; Goona Browser setup is currently mirrored on Freewarefiles.com and KeroDownload.com. 41 downloads were from KeroDownload and 82 were from FreewareFiles.com.... read more
